Emergency Protest

I’m sure you are all aware, the situation in India is very tense following the Citizen Amendment Act (2019) which was passed last week. Since then, there have been nationwide protests. With over 25 people killed, mostly Muslim. Police have been specifically targeting Muslims, their businesses and properties.

Many people in the Community here in UK and India, which include Sikhs, Hindus, Christians, Muslims and Atheists oppose this discriminative law (CAA and NCR) introduced by the Indian government.

For this reason, Protest planned for: 4th Jan 2020 at 11.30am Starting from Richmond Road (Opp Forest Gate Police Station, passing through Green Street, then Plashet Grove, then onto High Street North and passing by East Ham Town Hall, with a Rally at Central Park, East Ham E6.

Bring all your family, let’s all unite and make our voices heard.
