Hall Hiring Terms And Conditions

  1. The hall and kitchen are available for hire, any day of the week between 10am and 10pm.
  2. Regulation states that the hall can only accommodate 130 people for Meetings and 110 for Functions. For your own safety and that of your guests PLEASE DO NOT EXCEED THE FIGURES STATED.
  3. Please note ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE OUR PREMISES.
  4. The minimum period of hire for the hall is 4 hours. The current rate of hiring is £50.00 per hour.
  5. The kitchen facility is available in conjunction with the hall at a total charge of £50.00 irrespective of the number of hours required. COOKING IS NOT ALLOWED. The cooker and oven can only be used to warm the food.
  6. A returnable "Security Deposit" of £50.00 is payable, which will be included in the total hiring charges. Please bear in mind that any damage or breakage will be adjusted from the deposit held. Your deposit can be collected after your function / meeting Monday to Thursday between 11am and 3pm. Please telephone at least a day before you due to come in to collect the deposit.
  7. An amount of £50.00 shall be paid in advance of booking and the full amount shall be paid at least three weeks before the date of hire. Any booking made less than 2 weeks of hire, full amount shall be paid. An allowance for late booking can be made.
  8. Any cancellation made Two weeks prior to the date of hire of hall will be subject to a cancellation charge of £50.00. Any cancellation within two weeks of hiring date will be subject to a cancellation charge of 50% of total hiring charges paid.
  9. Only 130 Chairs and 12 Dining Tables are available for use by the Hirer.
  10. Kitchen facilities include use of Gas Cooker, (for warming only), These "DO NOT" include cooking utensils, washing -up- liquids, refuse bags, tea towels etc., which must be provided by the hirers.
  11. Please do not overfill refuse bags. The bags should be tied securely and left outside the hall in the yard.
  12. Arrangements can usually be made to accept equipment in advance, however no responsibility for its safety can be undertaken by the centre or staff.
  13. Music may be played at a reasonable level so not to cause any inconvenience to neighbours. If spotlights are used for video filming, etc. a charge of £20.00 will be made and deducted from your refundable deposit.
  14. The Hall will generally be opened 15 minutes before the time booked. You will be expected to vacate the premises promptly at the end of the time paid for. You are required to leave the premises in clean condition so please allow some time to clean up. Any extra time used will be charged at the rate of £50.00 per hour.
  15. Please make sure that your guests do not park in front of residents driveways in Trinity Close, and do not, become a nuisance to the residents in anyway. If the guests do not observe this rule then the residents are free to call the police. Please note that as Hirer it is your responsibility to advise your guests about this rule.
